This is the first lighting study I have done for an interior using Octane. I wanted to test myself by doing a day and night cycle, which proved to be difficult at first. Once I got in the swing of things, everything came along pretty nicely. It's been a while since I have done an interior and forgot how long the renders can take to get rid of any noise that is present. Each image took around 6-10 hours to render using a simple 1070 graphics card and 16gb of ram.
I was responsible for texturing, lighting and post-production of this scene and the actual interior was found on Turbosquid.com. I tried to find the original scene that I downloaded to give credit to the one responsible for the models of the scene, but wasn't able to find the original owner on Turbosquid when I went back and looked. Either way I don't want to take responsibility for models that I didn't create.
Any feedback on the lighting, texturing, and post-production work is more than welcomed!
Enjoy!
